Congress Leaders of Ravidasia Community from Across the State Held a Meeting in Khanna (Punjab)

Khanna-12 June : An important meeting of Congress party-affiliated Ravidasia community leaders from across Punjab was held at Satkar Palace, Khanna. district Ludhiana yesterday .The  discussion focused on organizing a state-level event dedicated to the 650th Prakash Dihara of Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji at Congress Bhawan, Chandigarh. On this occasion, senior Congress leader Parminder Singh Samana shared detailed information about making the event a success,. 

 Addressing the gathering, Parminder Singh Samana said that the life and teachings of Shri Bhagat Ravidas Maharaj Ji are a source of inspiration for all of humanity. He said that the message of equality, brotherhood, hard work and humanity given by Bhagat Ravidas Maharaj Ji is still guiding society in the right direction today. Quoting Guru Ravidas Ji's sacred verse _"Aisa chaahu raaj main, jithe milai sabhan ko ann"_, he said this message presents the vision of a society where every person gets equality, respect and justice. He said that the event to be held in Chandigarh will play an important role in spreading Guru Ravidas Ji's teachings to the people and further strengthening social unity.On being asked about holding the event at Chandigarh Congress Bhawan, Shri Jang Bahadur said that due to the current leadership of Congress party ignoring the Ravidasia community of Punjab, a large number of people from this community got disappointed with Congress and moved towards other parties. Because of this, Congress went out of power at both the center and state level. During this program, a large number of Ravidasia community people from across Punjab will be gathered and provided detailed information about Shri Guru Ravidas Ji's ideology.
